The Stray Little Sock

 Book

The Stray Little Sock book is a heart-warming illustration of a stray little sock who didn't know where he was, who he was, who he belonged to, or what his purpose was. He learned through his new friends that everyone has a purpose and that everyone can be found.

All proceeds from the sale of this book benefit Southwest Christian Care ministries in honor of Mrs. Prisk's mother who was a hospice patient there.

The books can be purchased at the Gift Shop at Byron & Jim's Place here at the Hospice facility.

A ministry of loving hearts and caring hands.

The ministry of Southwest Christian Care was started in 1983 by Southwest Christian Church as a hospice ministry.  Our founding pastor, the late Dr. James W. Dyer, Jr., spoke in 1992 about why the church began this ministry.
